Since when i said Slyphy ride comfort as good as my E39 and since when i said it is bigger than Camry. This jay'crap'tor so called expert... is unbelievably putar-belit!... Well he just a kid who think he is right but didn't. Ignore laa....

Where is the putar-belit? Well unlike those who can't even measure, calculate and differentiate between comfort and cramped. Sylphy's ride good? It's not even close to quality built C-segments and yet you said it's ride as comfort as your E39. That is either lying or you have serious problem differentiate which is good which is bad.

Aiyoh, Altis using old technology, 4-speed gearbox and much more expensive than Civic...Forte looks great, so-so drive, 4-speeder and really lousy 2nd-hand value and u never heard of the horror stories about their service centers smile_blackeye.gif Naza/Nasim shd invest in PR training for their staff there...hee!hee!

Lancer GLS/GT will be great buy now but wait end of this year will be enveloped by a sea of Wajas which have an identical look..so u'll wonder if the 119k investment for exclusivity is worth it.

Well if you have the time, wait for the new Hyundai Avante/Elantra that was launched at Busan a few months ago.

...then again you were asking about the Slyphy and Civic, rite?

Sentra buang tepi jalan, tada sapa nak..!

Aku tak recommend Sylphy...bila2 pun!

Popcorn,

You seems to have problem with assumption & judgement. People wanted acceptable performance and handling not for racing nor reckless driving but for safety to evade unexpecting obstacle and get you out of danger alive. If your car can't even evade a large boulder on the middle of the highway at 80km/h without losing control, that'll reck your car and even endanger your passengers' lives.

If paying over RM100k, you should not expect to get empty shell that is lengthened small car. Those who forked out >RM100k already spent much of their money and yet they should not be bothered by poor below standard requirement handling other than reliability and durability.

Miki Mao,

I gave high scores to the new dual VVTi Altis and the Lancer EX too, what makes you think I'm pro-Korean? I like only cars that meet minimum requirement standards. Buying the affordable yet good Forte allows me to save cash for others. Less commitment and headache. Though it's a cheap car, its build quality, performance and handling could defeat some Japs brands. If you owned Civic, you should be able to discover the weakness in Sylphy long time ago. The Forte is really best for value car at its price, not really siding with it.

Ketaauto,

Drive safe though your car is good, be humble. Anyway, your stunts can prove how far can your car go but better do it on race track. Maybe can trick that taxi driver to pay the entrance fee to SEPANG to show how are the handling of both cars. Sylphy would get into bad understeer at tight turn and high speed cornering, already tested. No need to prove further.

totally agreed.
