If you wish to test the efficacy of the unit is to have you car battery tested with
a battery load tester at an auto workshop before using it. Record the CCA (Cold
Cranking Amps) and the Ohms (Impedance) readings. After about 2 weeks of
daily city driving or 2 to 3 days with a external battery charger you can run the
test again, you will see an increase on the CCAs and a reduction on the Ohms.
To ensure consistency in the readings before and after use:
1. Make sure that the tester clamps are clamped directly on the positive terminal
of the battery and for the negative terminal if that is possible, if not the engine
block will do.
2. The battery tester should be the same as well.
