Yeah... right... caressing...
But it's a HE... 059.gif

The main problem is the lighting behind the dashboard that flickers/ blinking...
So far... other electronics on the dashboard works excellently...
I suspect the wiring connector to the said bulb lamps that lit all the lighting behind the dashboard and the air-con central panel is "shot circuit" or something...
They have trouble-shoot it before, but problem arises a few weeks after that...

I saw an INCUS Avante outside the SC, but asking for a replacement of a new car because of a flicking dashboard lighting is way too much... 059.gif

This afternoon, a bit free, gave a call, and drop by at OKR SC to ask them to just re-check the connector...
Hopefully it works...
It need a few days/ weeks to confirm that the said connector is the main reason for all the haunting...
Just see what happens after this...

After a few days after repair of OKR SC, the problem still persist and exist...
Sometimes none at all, sometimes frequently and suddenly gone...
Today identify clicking sound comes from under dashboard (fuse box) area...
Some sort of a relay clicking sound, but SC Glenmarie says they already change the set...

Still waiting for feedback from SC...
Reading a few other foreign forums regarding the same said matter...
Some say battery, fuse, relay, wiring...
But in this case... where is the problem..?
Thinking of next level of solution...

The next level, meant here is, I have written an official complain to Hyundai Worldwide...
Within less than 24hrs., Hyundai Worldwide send an email to SD local...
SD local forward an email from their superior asking me to send my car back to SC for repair...
Later... receive a phone call requesting me to fix date and place of repair...

My reply is simple...
"If your Technical people still can't find the cause from previous SC visits, from the video proof given, then only I'll send my car back. I just don't want to waste another few days of leave (pity me, just got 1 car) and ended up with same problem, again, and again" comp26.gif

Later called SC management friend to help me send some sort of a technical report of all the things have been done but still problem persist to HQ Tech Dept...
After they finalize the report and could guess the next cause of action, then only I will send the car back...
So..., Now waiting...
and... The Haunting Continues... 059.gif

bro... really sad to hear about your story.
Of course, every car make also got their pit-fall. Probably you are just one unlucky one.

was trolling other cars thread in this forum, appear that peuguot also has their string of frustration.
Even the all glamor VW GTI which everyone drools on also has his fair share of suffering ( GB suddenly goes to neutral while driving), and the SC just not competent enough to get it sorted out.

It is really pain in the heart, to have to but a big sum of money for downpayment, and monthly folkout the hard earn money for your beloved "asset", and yet need to see your "asset" behave/suffer such symptom.

Thanks for the concern... blush.gif
After a few months of dashboard light haunting, finally found this wiring attachment near the head-lamp.
Took a snap-shot and email it to SC Admin.
.

.
This afternoon, realized that the said wires are connection to the side wing signal lamp.
Since, mine was INCUS version, this so called added accessories was clumsily assembled with slicing the original wire and then attached and wrap the said connection poorly with sealed wire tape. comp26.gif

This poor connection might be the main cause because I did re-tape the said connections, and on the way back from work today, observe none of the flickering syndrome.
Finally and hopefully, the haunting will stop so that I can enjoy more night driving. smile_big.gif

This post has already become my daily journal...
This morning at SC...
Yeah... another day out of office...

Inform Tech what to look for...
Solder the said wiring... seal it properly...
Hopefully, this is the said main problem...

If the haunting decided to go away...
will get a better "piece of mind"... and all smiles...
Cheers...

From previous visits, problem still exist.
Today, do another trouble-shooting of the said same problem.
Last time the problem tends to be more like a joke then taking it seriously... smile_clown.gif

Since lately, the flickering starts to be an annoying problem, SC should look into the matter seriously.
After 7-8 times of tiring SC visits and rectifications, a few emails to local Hyundai HQ & Worldwide, I'm yet to see any results.

The main thing here is to find the source of the said problem, and it's still a mystery... smile_question.gif

This is what the SC did today and previously. Sometimes until the extend of dismantling both headlamps, dashboard parts & meter, center console, whole fuse-box set, etc (just to name a few) for wiring checking and testing purposes. In other words, I've seen worst than these photos shown here... ohmy.gif

Solid sheet press metal door frame (non-hollow frames). Never regret buying this car.

Look at all those wires. Just a headache of trouble-shooting.

Any way for them to measure the voltage disruption? Very puzzling.
