Things will turn out to be better later...
Just need a bit more time and patience... smile_big.gif

Informer, not sure it could be due to unstable voltage though not likely ? but if they unable to find out the root cause, you could try to install voltage stabliser...

From a few of the SC visits, the Tech did check all the wiring including from the battery source...
I still suspect, the culprit for this so called blinking/ flicker dashboard lighting might be a loose contact, particularly the one connecting from power source, fuse box, to the "dashboard lighting set" itself...

Since, you can't teach/ tell the SC what to check/ do, need to just let them do what they are paid for...
We just tell what's the problem, and it's up to their expertise to rectified them...

Car still under warranty...
Mileage just only... 6100km...
Still got another 4.75 years and/or 293,900km warranty claim to go...
Doing it outside, will void the said warranty...

Today, from 8am-5:30pm was at Hyundai SC, Glenmarie...
Another surgery done to the wiring, ecu, etc...
Change some wires, relays, fuses, etc...

The only advantage on this 5th. visit is that, there is a video proof for the said problem...
After seeing the said video, at least they did understand what's main source of the flickering dashboard lights syndrome and where to look for...
It's a unique case, and maybe the first ever encounter...
The Supervisor (ex-Auto Bavaria Technician) attend personally to the car...

On the way back, everything seems to be OK...
I was told, if the said problem still exist after this, the car have to be dock for a few days for major wiring diagnose (import Korean Technician to trouble-shoot)... 059.gif
If the haunting doesn't scare me, that major surgery will... smile_big.gif

Have to wait for a few days to know the results...

What did you get after 5 days of leave and off days to attend problem (trouble-shooting) of your car!
NOTHING... smile_disapprove.gif
NO THING... smile_disapprove.gif

Wasted that 5 productive days, and the problem is still there...
I thought, the haunted thing follow home the Koreans that visit the SC Showroom yesterday... 059.gif
The haunting just don't want to leave me... smile_big.gif

They want me to leave the car for a few days if problem still exist...
So... no transport to go to work... unless they give me a Tucson as replacement during my car at the Workshop... smile_big.gif
Just another TEST of patience of LIFE...
Have a nice day guys...

The main problem is the lighting behind the dashboard that flickers/ blinking...
So far... other electronics on the dashboard works excellently...
I suspect the wiring connector to the said bulb lamps that lit all the lighting behind the dashboard and the air-con central panel is "shot circuit" or something...
They have trouble-shoot it before, but problem arises a few weeks after that...

I saw an INCUS Avante outside the SC, but asking for a replacement of a new car because of a flicking dashboard lighting is way too much... 059.gif

This afternoon, a bit free, gave a call, and drop by at OKR SC to ask them to just re-check the connector...
Hopefully it works...
It need a few days/ weeks to confirm that the said connector is the main reason for all the haunting...
Just see what happens after this...
