Hi dream,

Why not test drive all 3! But i feel the doblo abit more like a utility
vehicle..but it's great to see on in town with moded 17" rims.
Log on to www.novitec.com to see for yourself!

Bear in mind that there'll be a facelifted Kangoo soon! It's already out
in Europe!

Arrrrrrrrrrrrrgghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Just saw the pix of the latest multipla.
They did this with the latest punto, now they are doing it with the
multipla.Bloody horrible. Will someone sack the designer who is doing this
to FIAT. the stilo style front end looks out of sync with the rest of the
body. The orginal looks unique and stands out. This toned-down look is
more like some korean MPV. One reason we buy Fiats because they look
distinctly italian. If we want something that looks like everything else,we
might as well buy a KIA or Hyundai or something from General motors.
Fiat is in danger of losing it's identity if if carries this on.
I say this again -yuck!!!!!!!!!!

Fiatfully,

Correction!!The so-call toned-down look is still very much an Italian Job!
Why do I said that? SImply because, the Korean buy european design and put
onto use!

Example : Matrix even had the name pininfarina printed on it.

Aisay,
They do this cos they want to sell more ler!
Current design not for the masses.(making losses heheh)
Fiat would like to have all "stilo" looks, just like the doblo, future
punto, new ulysses!

That's why Matrix sells better! But the Multipla has more originality to
it. Well they're italians!

My friend got a matrix couple of months back. On paper and first
impressions- unbeatable package for under RM80,000. Styling also nice-
could very well have been a fiat. Roadholding nothing to shout about but
OK lah.
Three months later he drove a Renault Scenic and that's when he
realised what he was missing. With the European car he can sweep corners
fast with his eyes closed -that's the words he used anyway. With the
matrix, you better jaga or end up in the longkang.
Anyway, back to the styling issue of Fiat. My humble opinion -the new
styling exercise might gain more customers for Fiat or might drive even
more away. Guess following the pack and trying to look like others means
you might get a smaller share of a larger cake. Likewise being different
is only good if it works as a whole.
As for me, guess I will treasure my old Punto more.

After the visit to KLIMS...looking through all midi-MPV's and full sized
MPV's...my answer is still the same!

What's lacking :
1) Midi MPV's -
a)either 5 seats with luggage space

b)7 seats but pathetic luggage space.

2) Full sized MPV's -
a) either 4 big seats (big luggage space)

b) 5 seats (big luggage space)

c) 7 seats (pathetic luggage space)

Overall spaciousness is still the Multipla tops!!!

KCLiew,

Brother, care to check the other thread on Ulysse. It is RM139.5K for the
first 40 units which is almost gone by now! Call torino quick!

Others, visited KLIM03 and checked on 807! same as C8! price = RM163K++
teruk lah..better check the Toyota...

anyway, Fiat is still the winner! BTW, no FIAT/ALFA, BMW cars took part!!!
