Sharing experience...

It has been a few years since I had this driving simulation game "rFactor".
Website: http://www.rfactor.net/
The graphics is not as good as PS3, xBox, but way much better than any PS2 racing games.
.

.
To me, actually, it's more towards a "simulation racing" game software rather than a game software.
Recently, upon visit F1 Pit promo near KLCC (Petronas F1 kiosk), I notice that, the simulation gimmick cars was also using the same said rFactor game (F1 2009 WCP).

The only advantage thing about this said simulation racing game is that, you can 'download' FREE car mods, tracks, accessories add-ons to your said basic software.
I've been driving Minis, Trucks, Feraris, BMW, McLaren, Porche, F1 cars etc. for quite sometime now.
All these said mods can be download for FREE from;
1) http://www.rfactorcentral.com/
2) http://www.simraceway.com/

The best mod I'm driving now is a BMW M3 GTR compared to others.
No doubt, F1 cars are fast, but you need good reflex to control them zipping at 300km/h at Sepang track. At these speed, there is no way you can blink an eye.
I don't race on roads, but just race here.
Have a preview.
Demo also available for download.
Sample of my video uploads to youtube are available here;

Just install the Mod...
You need the main Software RFACTOR before you can play this game...

There is NO LEVELS... just choose a car... and drive...
It's that simple...

More like simulation rather than racing games...
No wonder, you can see this same software being used by the Petronas F1 Pit Demo Team recently...
Will look for "video guide" on it if available...

Anyway, I need to reinstall mine because just formatted my PC today... smile_disapprove.gif

yeah..looks like i've to play this game and race one by one...

just manage 2full race day today....and both with flying colours....champion....but rallying is a bit unpredictable on this game..hard to handle and guess the car reaction...maybe need to experiment more on driving aid setup...

so far..i categorized the driving aid setup with 2major group...

-high power rwd/mr/...
*stability control high
*TC high
*abs low
others off

-low power or high power 4wd/fwd
*stability control low/off
*TC off
*abs low
*others off
