The Michelin 225/55/ZR16 95W. maximum speed 270.
The tyre marking for CC5 is FR.
http://www.conti-onl...-5,tabNr=1.html

Now considering CC5 or PS3. If not mistaken CC5 is comfort tyre. PS3 is UHP tyre. Not a fair comparison.....

yes is not fair to compare those 2... traction and handling is the main difference between the 2 tires...

The tyre engineers in the R&D team has put in a lot of effort in designing tires, so outside means outside and inside means inside. Sometimes, the shop personnel try to be smart. If he has done so, suggest that you better get it corrected ASAP. Lucky these guys don't work for the airline change tyre department!

+1 u should ask them to flip it back for FOC

FR stands for protection rib or rim protector:

Other tyres especially low profile, rim protector ribs already comes as standard.... smile_wink.gif

Apart from mixed up the inside and outside of tyres, I have also seen cars fitted with directional tyres fitted with the opposite rotation of the car travel direction. For sure these cars wiill have bad aquaplanning and are road hazard to other users especially in the wet condition.

Water will be drawn in rather then out..... smile_blackeye.gif smile_blackeye.gif

If priority is on comfort then CC5. All round performance then PS3..... smile_wink.gif

The old tyres may have harden and new tyres will be softer.....

I press the CC5 sidewall and they are actually not that soft, unlike V12 & ZE-912..... smile_tongue.gif

hurm,no idea, but from normal view the sidewall is straight standing like a wall.
air pressure is using the recommanded by car manufacturer, front 220,rear 200.sometimes i even reduce front to 210 only coz too bumpy... smile_disapprove.gif
