Any news on upcoming Camry? ACV3x was here during late 02' till 06', facelift during year 2004..right? ACX4x from 06' till 10' ?

based on popular japanese model life cycle, its safe to predict a new camry will come as early as end 2010 but we can say 2011 is possible. here's the reason

1. vios NCP42 (first model), launched in 2003. facelifted sometime in between. replace with all new model in 2007. 4 years.

2. honda city. launched in 2003. facelifted sometime in between and replaced in 2008. 5 years

3. honda accord. SM4 launched in 1990. SV4 in 1994. CF4 in 1999. 7th gen in 2003. 8th gen in 2008.. average of 4.5 years

4. camry. SXV10 1994 (actual 1992 in UK). SXV20 in 1998. ACV3# in 2002. ACV4# in 2006. all 4 years between each cycle.

so, with 4 years showroom life, an all new Camry is expected to be around the corner this year. maybe in japan. but as the current camry was just facelifted recently, UMW may want to play safe and launch an all new model in 2011.

anyone's guess is as good as mine.

confirm there a no new model for camry this year.Maybe by sept umw will brig 2.0 dual vvt Altis. In december Rush facelift & minor change for very old model avanza( change sticker & radio only).

i guess it wont be anything this year r early next year..
as till now no spyshot or any concept yet to release in US or Jpn..
so i'm very doubt that, and even if that comes out later this year..
it will surely takes sometime to reach our shore..

and together wit the just FL camry this year, taken all these factors into account...
a safe bet is nth new coming in till at least 3Q/4Q 2011

Then the backside also get itchy when see new model.
So we end up working our butt upside down for the Ah Loong banks.

This is lauyah bolehland. With a 3.5, Toyota will probably sell 10 units per year - to their executives !
