QUOTE (duboisi @ Jul 17 2010, 12:28 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
High Spec 06 (Panaromic, Bose, memory seats/steering/side mirrors, rear entertainment, multifunction steering, PCM, 20" rim, air suspension...) cost between RM330k-380k. Dealers might throw in facelift kits of 08 which is worth near to RM30k.
Maintenance is on the high side, roughly:
1) Lub and filter change every 10k km (RM800)
2) Disk rotors and pads every 20k-40k km (RM8k)
3) Set of 4 tyres 275/45-20 every 20k-40k km (RM6.5k)
4) Road tax for 4.5L (RM4k)
5) Other parts price - no idea as I only know 4 other friends who own Cayenne and they have no idea (never change/repair other than regular maintenace), mechanics said lots of parts are shared with VW Touareg so is not expensive
6) Make sure rediator tubes/pipes are already changed to upgraded aluminium tubes/pipes (original plastic)
7) Buy from dealears that has workshop and Porsche diagnostic tools.
Sorry off topic discussion here.

I have test drove F10 523i 3 times, E200 CGI once, E250 CGI twice. If there is no financial crisis in Europe which makes UK recon attractive, I would have bought F10 523i.
If you need to be noticed or you value 0-100km/h accerelation, buy E250. I think E200 is rubbish if your travel on hilly roads often, ie: try follow a slow car uphill at 20km/h and attempt to overtake, ie: try driving from Damasara and turning in Bangsar, then turn into Pantai hill.
If you just want a smooth drive with good car handling + comfort, it is 523i for me. BUT you could be mistaken for driving 3-series (from the back) and "don't know which BM model" from the front.

Hi,

Anyone compared servicing costs Spore Vs Msia??
Just did 2nd service for F10 523i in Spore Performance Motor ...... cost me SG$630 with GST. My car is Spore registered.
Asked at counter and they said price for Malaysian registered BMW is the same.

1st service @12000km cost me SG$325
2nd service @24000km costs SG$630

How much do the 1st and 2nd service for F10 523i cost in Msia?

Cheers. smile_cool.gif
