I owned Pajero Sport GL (2WD) version. I bought it because it is the cheapest Diesel SUV that I can afford. There is a new version of Pajero Sport in Thailand which have 5 gears and VGT turbo. Just not sure when will Mitsubishi introduce it to Malaysia Market.

Hyundai Sante Fe looks goo to me except the exterior design, you can still tell it is a Kimchi car. New Kia Sorrento is totally different on exterior design, no more Kimchi smell.

Santa Fe 2.2 diesel - personally, I felt exterior design better than new Sorento. Interior new Sorento much better than Santa Fe. Pajero Sport I don't like design, both exterior and interior but somehow donno why some people loves it. Fortuner - very old design and old tech.
Santa Fe 2.2 diesel 197hp, 442 NM torque. My actual FC, 9.7L/100km. 110km/h rpm approx 1,800. Also, much more less bouncy than Fortuner.
People have been warning me about resale value before I bought Santa Fe 2.2. I am glad I ignored them.
