mine is not the latest alphard / vellfire

i dun think this version come in 3.5l

but for mpv, road tax for 3.5 or above also cheap..cheap..haha

By the way, do we get any discount on roadtax for MPV/7seater cars?

yes, under MPV category, the road is cheap for large CC

3.0litre engined MPV's road tax is in the region RM16xx. That is cheaper than equivalent sedan car which is in excess of RM2k. Can try to calculate with AW's road tax calculator. The reason for cheaper road tax is MPVs are normally registered as windowed vans, due to the existence of windowed sliding doors.

I thought the cheaper road tax of 7-seater mpv is because the government wants to encourage people to car-pool ~ more people travel on the same car, help to solve the traffic prob, so they offer cheaper road tax? smile_big.gif

hello, many thanks for the info, is alphard 3.0 in the MPV road tax deduction list? does it need any special application to apply?
