wonder how many vti owners have been affected so far, since it seems to be heat at the engine bay issue?

Former Rides:
Ford Telstar TX5, Proton Waja

For the second time, glenmarie changed my battery under warranty. I asked service advisor kumar what seems to be the problem, since nothing is wrong with the electronics. He told me it could be a faulty battery. I then asked him what if it happened again. He just reassured me that it would not. Looks like there is not much that they can do about it? Really is boils down to best practices then. From now on, i'm turning off my guide me home lights too. Haha. Let's hope this time the battery lasts longer. Otherwise, they should really have some recovery plan. I mean, this now sounds like a design defect to me?

how sure are we that when they replace the battery under warranty, it was not a used battery? or a re-con battery?
unless u see them putting in the acid & charging the battery & place it in the car, otherwise, it may just be another con-job

bro, my daylight lights has been on ever since i got my car...
10k service they mention no problem with my battery, so i doubt that it's contributing to the issue...
best practice as one of our brother mention (in lifting the hood at home) might be helpful... but i'm also wondering if it will give more exposures to insects?

there has been a few cases with battery problem cited here... but some owners don't have the problem...
really hope that it is battery fault... by batches...

also... with all these technical issues arising and bb/nasim can't give us a dependable answer... is there any channel that we can consult peugeot directly? at least for some technical assurance...

daytime running and guide me home lights a different. Day time running it not as bad because your engine is running. Guide me home lights is when you turned off your engine.

Battery conked out seems to be rampant for the 308. I just wonder how many of us have had their batteries changed while still under warranty. Shall we make a list;

1) l00n3y- 308 THP, after 6 months, 16k km
2) HAH - 308 THP, after 6 months, 15k km
