I just found out recently that cars MT transmission will not "4" if u leave the pedals just like that, provided u're on the move already.

I was looking around for houses so wise choice is to go slow. after awhile i realise that none of my foot were on the pedal n i'm still moving slowly of coz. then i went to try a diesel vehicle (MT) n found out that it does not die also.

there are 2 question now in my mind.
1) will this cause any problem in the long run?
2) is this how the auto transmissions does when u leave the gear on D n not pressing anything?

you can probably do 25-40kmh on a flat plane in second gear without touching the pedals, must be some reinforcing frequencies between the gb ratio and engine rpm.

WIth my sis Neo,it will cruise too fast to be safe in housing road.
The pull is quite strong in 2nd gear without even touching the gas pedas when releasing the clutch.

With the Pajero,it will cruise on rough flat terrain at 20km/h on 2nd and 3rd gear.

Its normal,no damage.

this is true for my Neo as well,

going up a hill (not very steep)
1st gear
not touching the accelerator
clutch fully pressed then release it a bit, car kept going up the hill.

Washing a car should be an artform, not a chore.
