hey sifus, the 10w-30 magnatec only comes in 3 ltrs pack...n it wrote there specially formulated for compact cars.....waja cps can consider as "compact cars" ???? cos according to the authorised castrol dealer....noarmally waja, waja campro or waja cps all use 10w-40....10w30 seldom wor..maybe cos it comes in 3ltr pack then need to buy 2 pack??? 10w-30 3ltrs RM60 here....10w-40 4ltrs RM90 thn abt the FC...why 10w-30 can prod better FC?? is it due to the lower flash point???...hmmmm....dilemma dilemma....

Buy 2 bottles and keep balance for next change. Next 2 changes, buy 1 bottle each time, will be enough and on long run is cheaper.....
5w-30 is even lighter, but that comes in FS or Semi syn.... smile_blackeye.gif
Lighter oil flows easier therefore engine also feels lighter.....

For CPS engine they recommend 10-30W.
However if u open the bonnet, u can hear the teppet noise. Its kinda loud.
Then again u will not notice this while driving.

On the fc,with my sis Neo CPS fc is ok even being driven moderately.
If very2 aggressive, the fc can beat the Waja 1.8 anytime.

never,
Previously was on Bardahl 0-40W.
Now on Total Quartz 9000 15-50W.

It does not consume oil but then again the choice is not up to me as its not mine.
If its mine,i'll probably go as low as 10-30W smile_tongue.gif

wat abt 10w-40??? kindly, may i knw wat viscosity are u using for ur waja?

The car used 10W30 semi-syn and 20W50 mineral. All Petronas lube since its compulsory by EON otherwise warranty void according to them.

My CPS FC is 8km/ltr vs what was claimed 10 to 11? I lost 150km for every fill wor. Even my other turbo-charged car 2.5 times more in horse power is giving me 9km/ltr. I cant figure out this CPS thing... smile_dead.gif

Of late I have been reading that a lot of people are having very high FC. Saga BLM and so on having 7km/l. I thought my wife's guzzler was one of the very few, but looks like many are in the same shoe. At least hers is still a 1.8, where the Saga is a 1.3 smile_shock.gif
Even my 2.0 turbo with all the running is giving me the same mileage..... smile_thumbup.gif

My dad had an old Toyota Corona 1.8 did about 5km/ltr and I managed to convince him to change to a N16 which was much better ave 11 to 12km/ltr.

Yesterday I watched Australia V8 Supercar race and the commentator mentioned those engines souped up 4.5ltrs per lap! smile_tongue.gif That's about 1.5km/ltr isnt it? 1237.gif

Wow this is really serious la bro! I`ve still got my 20year old laser,1.5 old technology engine. Even this old dog is giving me 9.5km/ltr. I keep this car just to take on all those road bullies. I`m not a road bully, but with this car I`m King Of The Road smile_cool.gif , no one dares any funny stuff.
