Can easy DIY one with parts from electronics store. Thinking to do that when I have time. Good thing to know whether your battery is in good condition before your car cannot start. smile.gif

Change battery every two years is a good practice if you don't have any monitoring device. If you have accidentally drained your battery dry by leaving lights on until cannot start, it is good to get it changed within a month. Car batteries aren't designed to be deep cycled.

You change the battery even though in good working condition?
Most of the time white powder forming, some battery acid leakage or battery casing bulging is tell tale sign.
I change only when they really konk. I always have my jumpers cables ready..... smile_thumbup.gif
Anyway, my car also is manual, so can push start........ smile_tongue.gif
