woah !! Nice beading!! How long did you leave the first coat before applying the next one?
4 coats applied in a day?

Yeap, within a day. To be exact, it is 4coats within 2hours.

I don't like waiting, even with ZFXed, i apply up to 3coats within 2hours..

There can be only one . âã

IMHO, i can sense that WOWA products can beads really well initially but durability still lose to conventional sealant.

Let's see how it holds up..comparing between Ultima PGP and Z-CS

Me too...only 2 coats. Now must try 4 coats, plus polish & wash with shampoo first..... smile_thumbup.gif

After polish, i don't have PrepSol, so just wash again to remove polish residue.

Bro,
Its a close up photo, only see the significant of water beads.
Whats the overall panel look like?
Also, is this the rain drops or water hosting beads?
Rgds.

This is waterhosting beads, the 2pictures above from previous posting are rain droplets. In fact, the water sheets off quickly, not much water droplets left for me to take photo..hehe.

One more pic, overall panel looks like below. This are the only few pictures i took.
Rain Drops camera phone shot..

just to share.

Door panel with ES 1 coat- Door still with Siemen marks /contamination tht cannot completely removed by ROB+1 round DG501. I apply the ES after 3 weeks of DG501 and the door was clean with DG521 QD prior ES.

The following bonnet was Pre-polish with 3M Ultra Fina 06068 + LC Black (1 Round) beginning of this month. Still left some deeper water marks/contamination. i will try Ultra fina + LC White Polishing pad next time.

Same method, I QD with DG521 then 2 Coats of ES but these round I mist some filter water to mf pad before 2 spray of ES to MF app pad. The following pics are after 1 maintenance wash

Some ES look and seriously it only gives ultra brightness to black and not as depth. With 2 coats it seems slightly more depth. I will top with DG105 or TC next time more deeper and wet look

p/S: Still with hp camera...

I believe the surface prep before LSP is most important in determining the beading "look"

however if the polishing oils start to wear off and all you are doing is waxing once a week with your fav wax, the way you spread the wax is important in this case.

I have observed on Satria Neo paint that hand application (my very amatuerish application) produces uneven beads as I was impatient with the application process.

But if I use my orbital and go slowly after priming the pad with a nice amount of wax, the beads are rounder and have roughly the same size.

I have no comment on hand-applied-waxes-only.

(but if it really pours cats and dogs out there then the beads turn into puddles, lol)
