It should become Proton Exophard or Proton Alpzora.
Exophard sounds nicer.

Actually Exora Warranty is 5 years or 175,000km with the first 3 years or 100,000km warranty comes from Proton

Normal Proton ATF change is at every 40,000km, I highly doubt your claim of every 20.000km.

is it so?

as far as i'm concern, warranty for all cars (persona, waja, gen2, sneo) stands at 50,000km or 2 yrs whichever comes first.
the extra 125,000km coverage by a 3rd party requires the owner to strcitly service at Proton SC without fail every time. once skipped, warranty expires.

and proton strongly recommends ATF change at every 20,000km no matter how we refuse. and ti will be quite surprising if proton give extra benefits to exora owners when the auto tranny and ATF is basically same (except final ratios)

anyway, i maybe am wrong but the innova remains my clear choice. too bad its been too long in market.

Scenic,

Do widen your choice for below model,

1. Proton Exora 1.6 CPS (Timing Belt)
2. Toyota Innova 2.0 VVT-i (Timing Chain)
3. Naza Rondo 2.0 CVVT (Timing Chain)
4. Chery Eastar 2.4 (Timing Belt)
5. Nissan Grand Livina 1.8 (Timing Chain) = Forget it, too cramp... Not worth the price!
6. Perodua MPV 1.5 (Timing Chain) = Basic 6 seater, might not served u well if 7 people on-board!

Test it yourself and find suitable one. Your requirement very simple, can sit 7 people on-board comfortably and the car won't push so hard when cruising highway. I personally don't think Proton Exora 1.6 will be your choice cause you got 5 adults + 2 children on-board.

Do consider at least 2.0cc above if always outstation.

Proton Exora 1.6 CPS, still new. No proven reliable. The shape was nice and spacious. But really struggle when 7 people on-board.

Toyota Innova 2.0, proven reliable but fuel consumption was not good enough. Average 9.5km / liter, high FC. The engine was not as same as toyota camry 2.0 I bet it was old design, an upgrade engine from unser.

I tested Naza Rondo 2.0 CVVT (145ps) before, it was powerful and easy maneuvering, 7 people on-board outstation no problem at all but is korean stuff and new in the market. No sure the reliability yet.

Chery Eastar 2.4, I bet it based on mitsubishi grandis. Good price, value for money. Although was Mitsubishi 2.4 engine, shall be powerful enough but road tax and insurance will be pricey a bit. Not sure the reliability yet.

Very difficult to decide, you go and test until find one suit you best. Good luck!
