My normal mechanic not sure how to check idle speed.Do i need to go to perodua center or can i check myself if its not correct. How to check?Just using for few months, more headache then my 15 year old conti.
i think u can look at the rpm meter urself, if the vibration is felt during a drop in rpm when the a/c compressor kicks in etc, then mebbe u can try servis the throttle

My nearby Perodua SC quoted rm750 to replace 3 out of 4 of the engine mounting stuff and I got to leave the car there for 2/3 days....Is it normal?!
MyVi 1.0 Manual. 70,000km. Just changed timing belt and the engine vibrating now on idle.
Life is short. Seize the day!

Is it normal for Kenari to have engine mounting problems? Only 3 years old, seems too early. According to service center, it's normal and need to replace, total cost more than RM1000. Is the price reasonable?
Thanks to all sifu response in advance.

Im using kenari 2006 Aero spec Auto
millage 132,000 and I have a vibration problem started a week ago.
I went to a mechanic to check and he propose to me to change the front mounting. I left the car there for a day and he change the front mounting and it cost me RM130. The mechanic tune my idle rotation slightly higher. and others items that i ask him to check.( I have a problem my belt make a sound when i turn the air conditioner and my front left tire make a sound maybe that why he charge me RM130)
The problem is the vibration did not go away. I can feel the vibration more stronger when I stop at the traffic light May be because I only change 1 mounting only. Do I need to change all the mounting 1 set at a time? Can we change the mounting separately for the 1 that got problem only? - Please help. I'm want to call the mechanic again next week.

my 2003 kelisa manual just clocked around 170,000 km also vibrating quite bad especially when idling the past few months
i did not plan to replace the mounting until my gearbox recently got problem, cannot enter the gears even jolting when get into reverse gear
so in the end had to replace the clutch plate (1 spring came off), pressure plate and seal, then found out 1 of 3 rubber of engine mounting already severely cracked thus decided to change the 3 mountings (2 of 3 rubber already harden and aging) ... all for rm 1.5k
but now my kelisa runs smoothly again
