As a result of that, people rise and vote against them, they were forced to create a smaller cabinet. They know the cost and price to pay for "protectionism" in Malaysia.

Ya. Government need to protect them. But i think government should earn more foreigh country money than malaysia. if not wrong , some country launching use fully hybrid car. Besides that, Malaysia can use the solar system as well to make a vehicle move. This could help the air environment.

How about you guys think?

Eric

eventually fully hybrid will become the thing for the future.. but the future is not too near.. it will be far far away from our existence now.. untill the earth itself ran out of fossil fuel.

they can try to introduce the fuel-less solution.. just for limited consumer or for POC.. but for mass scale or even to mass replace.. The big economic player such as oil & gas company wont easly allows alternative fuel to be self realible now. there is a lot of thing happening or wud i say or someway somehow there is a lot of linkage between automotive industries and oil industries. not to mention, goverment & personal relation, intrest & investment on it both short and long term. there is a lot of complex chain related activities and connected between here and there on the auto & Oil industries..

i believe that fully hybrid can be achive when these big players started to focussed and make priority on their core business towards alternative fuel such as hydrogen, solar, nuclear fusion & ect ect.. this will significantly change the direction of the technology and much anticipated economy and the face of the civilization itself.

beside money that runs the world.. Oil also ruled it side by side.. change both of them. u'll get utophia.. and thats my friend is when the end of the world gonna be.

That one should call electrical powered car. Maybe hybrid means half electricity half water? smile_big.gif

SF is right. the meaning of hybrid is a vehicle that have at least 2 type of powertrain, normally the combination is of a normal internal combustion engine and an electric motor.

the problem with pure electric cars are they cannot last even a 300km journey while a full re-charge will take hours.

in my knowledge the most successful electric cars are tesla. their 2 seater can even match a 5,000cc sports cars in terms of acceleration (0-100 in less than 4 secs); click given link for more info
