every two weeks need to reset ???
Hi fkmfkm,
Not every 2 weeks, for some, only every time when you change engine oil or change battery if you have own preference for the ECU/PCM/ECM settings. This money making scheme was first introduced in BMW 7series 1981 and 1982 525i above (520i no need). Then other carmakers follow as they find it interesting way to make buyers stick to their SC.
Hi momotaro,
I don't go to SC and I owned only Jap cars. Can't comment on Chevy.

Refit from Daewoo Korean edition. The model is 10 years old. Those models no longer sell in US. That's the reason why ppl. seldom get Chevy.
Chevrolet Optra, year of launch in Korea, 2002.
You already Jumped from year 2012.
Please read read read read read properly.
Thank you.

Amazing! People can say so much about Chevy but actually no nothing about it. Bro...look la at Chevy fact correctly before u wan to tembak (buta-buta) here.
Chevrolet range sold here is for Asean market, therefore, GM won't sell Asean models in the US market. Since you ill informed and for your learning sake (as if you are a toddler)...their market is selling range like Malibu, Cobalt, Suzuki Forenza, etc. Further more theirs are 2,000cc & above.

Its definately not the throttle body, the 1.8LT only problem if it's manufatured in 04-06 is the wire harness. The cost of repair would be below RM1K. Try checking with prevoius SC such as Shared Auto, PJ Volcar and Ecotec all based in Klang Valley. I do not know of any 1.8 that has had a throttle body replaced in both mychevyclub.net and .com forum.
The following are my current and my future rides:
2012: VW Sicrocco 2.0T (its a moving target...)
2010: Proton Saga SE 1.3
2009: Suzuki Swift 1.5
2005: Chevrolet Optra 1.8Lt
