need some help

penang kuantan..ive been using these route..

1.penang-ipoh-tg malim-kkb(NS HIGHWAY)-genting-karak-kuantan(LPT)
my door to inlaw door distance 578km
a bit ease trip..higways all along..only some bend when climbing genting(halfway)..
toll cost=about rm60++ as i remembered
need advice on speed traps if any

2.penang-grik-jeli-besut(east coast road=highway?)-setiu-k berang-jerangau-kuantan
door to door distance 680km
i like the sharps bends on grik higways(but some pothole invisble n wildlife animals turn me off)..but hated d road of jerangau jabor..(narrow..slow moving vehicle,tractors,farm animal)..
toll cost rm2.60(kulim)
need advice on speed trap and death trap if any..

3.this one i really dunno yet..but looking at malaysian maps..seems d shorthest
PENANG-IPOH-SIMPANG PULAI-CAMERON-------------------------KUANTAN..

anybody hv any idea if choosing route number 3? where shud i go..and estimate mileage?

thanks ipoh mali. read it oredy..
the problem is..kuala terengganu to kuantan is quite far..3 hours if using d seaside marang road n less than 3 hours if using d kuala berang jerangau road..

so far what i know is..cameron-gua musang(via felda aring)-kuala berang...it b a waste if im heading up north back to gua musang..ive heard some route that can bypass that..and oldtimer told me once..but i forgot oredy..very2 shortcut..
