Civic probably have the edge in engine power while Mazda3 stock handling is relatively better..

But then again the Civic has stability control and is riding on 215 R17 tyres while Mazda only on 205 R17

You might not happy but i think have to clarify this; both are not equal in terms of power output (225hp type r vs 145hp mazda 3) & suspension setup (track ready & street use)!

let's put back the same category for Civic (FD2) Vs Mazda 3 (2.0 sport)!

Civic FD2R = 225hp/215Nm (2.0NA)

Mazda3 Sport = 145hp/182Nm
Civic FD2 = 155/188Nm
