me and three of my other friends are also planning to get this bike (6er-n), i've read alot of reviews of this bike and it is very positive. it is one of the best bikes in euro. do a search and you'll see tons of reviews ( maybe not tons but hundreds). but we're planning to get them next year, need to safe some money first. there are some shops in kl selling the bike at 0-downpayment with 3.5% interest, which is pretty good.
did you arrange loan from the shop or bank? what r the rates?
another fact, the higher price is not only due to the colour but because it is a CBU model (trust me it is worth the price for a CBU).
question? have you ever riden a bike big before? if yes, then good because you'll know how to ride safely but if NOT, then my strong advice is to get some tips or advance learning course to handle big bikes.
ride safe and enjoy, maybe we can meet up once my friends and i get our bikes........ride onnnnn.

The std er6n came with 5% intrest with min d/p of RM6600, with RM550 monthly for 5yrs.
If im not mistaken the 3.5% intrest is for 3yrs.
Kapar motor did offer 0 d/p in their latest advertisment.
Now all er6n are CBU, but not from Japan.

Sorry everyone....I have been so busy & excited with the new bike that I didn't have time to post.
It is even better than I thought it might be. Last 'big bike' I owned was Honda 750 Four (34 years ago), and the ER-6n is at least as powerful.
Still running in so 4,000rpm is the max (that is 80kmph in 6th gear). After 800kms you can rev safely to 6k rpm.
It looks lovely sounds lovely, and goes like a rocket.
I am very happy with my purchase, and as an earlier poster stated...this is a 'lot of bike' for the money!
