Does anyone know anything about this model.

I saw a new one recently in a shop in the City Centre
If you are not living life on the edge.....you are taking up way too much space ;-)

So I guess no one on here owns one as there has been no feedback.

I think I'll just go ahead and purchase one...then I'll be the 1st smile_approve.gif smile_approve.gif

Do you mean ER6N SE the orange color one? Just buy it. I believe the spec is more or less the same with 2009 model.

Yeah...that's the model.

Put a deposit on a new one 'Special Edition' - the orange one. It is RM2,000 more than the standard 2009 (black or white) model, and I asked the dealer what was different about the Special Edition....and his reply was "The colour" laugh.gif

Does anyone know if you can add ABS brakes as an 'optional extra'?

cannot. ABSs are more than just a bolt on part.

congrats on the purchase. A heckuva of a bike for the $$$. Did you get matching orange riding jacket ? tongue.gif

really they said er6 become lighter at high speed?160km/h perhaps?less road grip?

Never heard that before.
Usually wobbling at high speeds with newer bikes are caused by worn tires (worn meaning less than 3-4mm tread depth).


If the rider sits up like a sail at 170-180kph of course he'd feel like flying off. Hunch down a little or hug the tank and you'll find it's just as stable as any other bike, even at 220.
