Proton got resale Value?

Now 2nd delear car clever already when buying time saying the brands car so high till sky when u trade in saying till hell . if all car got resale value new car boleh tutp kedai oooo smile_approve.gif

lwlty is right. Since Sime Darby doesn't abandon its car buyers, spare parts & technical people are always available. Even Japanese cars today price dropped like 10-20k for 1st year. My N16 already dropped more than RM20k having only RM65k+ compared to Dec 07 bought it for RM84k. If Sime doesn't do well in marketing their cars, scold those marketing people kaw kaw if got chance.

Unfortunately, Malaysia version comes with downgrade version i.e. missing moveable rear head-rest, no traction control, come with 15' tyre size, no LED for rear lamps, no auto lighting in the dark and no key-less entry.

Agree with all except 15". SG Avante is 15", while Malaysian Avante/X20 is 16", with option to upgrade to 17" East Max rims. Other stuff that are NOT available are:
- side and curtain air-bags
- folding rear seats
- sun roof
- rear mud guards (front has mud guards, why not rear?)
- cruise control
- average fuel consumption display (km/liter)
- low tire pressure indicator (TPMS - Tire Pressure Monitoring System)
- vanity mirror lamp
- luggage net (holder) in boot
- glass antenna (who uses those old metal antenna's nowadays?!)
- illuminated ignition switch
- engine cover
- child seat lower anchors (for child restraint system)

When you want to sell your car, 2nd hand car dealer will said your car will have no value and hard to sell not only korean car.
I sold my toyota seg1.3 ae 100 at RM 9000 to dealer then then he managed sold for RM 15000 last year.
