For 5 yrs HP, simply about RM2k montly with 3% interest. Thanks not for me.

my 'kamsau tant' fren was the proud owner no. 2 for the new hatchback (was invited for the mock-up key presentation dinner)...previous also focus, manual version... i dun wan to sit in his car often coz it makes my car feels like 20 yrs behind technology smile_disapprove.gif

yeah... RM2k a month is just abit too much to pay for a ford...

i dun unstd why look at installment rather than car price?

installment amount is what u willing to pay as downpayment earlier

Yap I agree with you that the down payment as well as the duration of the HP will affect the installment. But I'm commenting with respect to the "so call promotion" offered by the Ford. The price of the car itself is compatative. And if I were in the position to buy the car, I wont take their very unatractive promotion offer.

but the promo actually is giving out discount after minus the 10% downpayment required for HP eg. RM 113x10%= 11300-5200= RM6100 so that is the actual discount given but they try not to be too direct.

to me RM6100 discount for a 2009 car is quite ok compare to those jap honda civic and toyota altis
