Contacted my sales....

1st......check by the peugeot mechanic in penang....
that fellow's suggestion....send to tyre shop for allignment..

2nd.....spend about 1 hr in the tyre shop....
the mechanic there claimed is the 'tow' problem...not allignment.
suggest go back to peugeot....change something screw or ???

3rd.....go back to penang peugeot.
the mechanic contacted somebody ???............
that somebody very convinced is not that problem...cannt change the screw or ???.....will void warranty !!
suggest to go to another tyre shop

I believe this was discussed many times here in this blog... if I'm not mistaken, Alan did a write-up about this problem common to the 308 and he got his rectified.

Maybe you wanna do a quick search about this rather than put up another similar tread?

I think Alan has posted this before including how to fix it up, search for it.

Another helpful hint.... DO NOT send any NEW car to outside tyre shop to fix anything. Warranty can be voided. Also do a info search on road camber(roads are designed for water run off to the longkang). Lastly camber should be fixed for Peugeot cars so DON'T let any tyre shop conned you to add a camber nut.

bro, i've complained abt this to my SA too. dunno if it's the same SA as yours though. but basically that guy claimed that its a very common problem and even the mercs they sell have the same problem.

anyway in my case i find that in town driving and low speeds it's quite unnoticeable. only if going above 90kph on highways that it's more apparent. because i dont really use highways that often, this problem has really hamper me yet. as for how to settle, (especially for penang people coz we cant really follow alan's way of sending it to that particular kl tyre shop)...i'm also waiting to hear more suggestions.

Hi,

I have the exact same problem on my 1 week old ride.

Had it sent for a alignment check and found that it is a camber problem. The right is -Ve and the left is + ve. The camber, btw, is not adjustable. So whatever remedy they do, like rotating tires etc is only temporary.

Not only the car is pulling left, at lower speeds, the steering lacks "feel" and is very vague. Turning one side feels heavier. We buy a Pug coz of it's handling and ride prowess so this problem killing the fun of otherwise a very good car.

How many of you guys are experiencing this?

This is definitely a manufacturing or assembly fault. If it is as common as what i understand, we should make a group claim against them as i believe this problem is curable. Especially during this early period when they can't give us excuses.
