On E200K W211, pre-facelift or facelifted has cosmetic changes all round. Especially obvious on the bumper and rear bonnet. On engine, pre-facelift tuned to 163bhp while facelifted tune to 183bhp. But using same 1.8L M271 engine, same tranny. Other than that, interior almost the same except the steering. Also, no more SBC Hold function on the braking system of the facelifted model. Instead, substitute with a more advance Adaptive Braking System with similar functions.

On E240 V6 2.6L engine 177bhp only available on the pre-facelift model. Facelifted only comes with E230 V6 2.5L 7G-Tronics 204bhp or E280 V6 3.0L 7G-Tronics 231bhp. The 7 gear version of coz more advance and still fetch a quite a high price.

You can find out more on Wikipedia, search for W211. All models line up is available, but set up a bit different coz mostly based on US & Europe market.

Hopes it help. Cheers. smile_wink.gif

haha...I'm not in automobil line for more than 3yrs already. laugh.gif

BTW, W211 facelifted in 2007.

Recond car can be quite risky. Make sure you get the APs verified. Coz without a proper AP, in the future if you're going to sell off that car, no way for the new buyer to get loan. But when you buy that time you can get loan no problem. Now you see how strong is the connection between some big car dealers and JPJ or banks.

My boss's E240 W211 is for sale. CKD local, with full C&C service history.

I can check tomorrow. But my boss's car always priced higher than market price due to full C&C service history. His previous W124 E220 Masterpiece and W210 E200K were sold at higher value.

I think most CKD merc owner will send their car to authorise service center. If they able and afford to purchase brand new merc from authorised dealer or sales, they will definately afford to sent it either to C&C or Hap Seng Star etc etc..Nothing special unless the car condition itself is very good and low mileage..smile.gif

My 1 cent..
