Haiyo no foldable mirror, 4 speakers only, no leather trim/seat, no side airbag, no cruise control, no audio control on steering but still got 4x4 on-demand.. lol

Went to Ford Cheras to check out the 2WD Escape, but no car on display.
Hope may features are not taken out to make out for the rm119k pricing.
If that is the case it is a con job by SD, no point buying unless comes with a 42" LED,
another 5k discount and 0% interest rate. What say u guys......

Gunner, I noticed from the US website, there is a new Ford Escape. If Malaysia has just launched the facelifted escape, when will this new Escape come to Msia?

To my knowledge, this version of the Escape is for now available only in North America. Rest of the world gets the one that we're getting now.

This is not new Ford Escape. It's just 2x4 variant. The new Ford Escape replacement will be based on the new Ford Focus 2011 chassis that looks awesome. It will be powered by Ford's new 2.0L dual VVT engine mated to 6-speed gearbox scheduled launch in 2012. By right, they should have started assembling the Kuga in Rayong, Thailand instead and sell it here at right price. The Kuga is supposed to replace Ford Escape.
