it is not rm300 la.
impossible. the compaoiund is wrtten on the second sheet, ie rm110.
i jsut paid my due. RM110 for speed of 139km/h near Kampar.
u can pay at jln sultan police station if ur in PJ or in jln bandar if ur
in KL.
u can appeal to reduce. but make sure u go equiped with a letter of
appeal.
didn't do the appeal as i find it a waste of time, it is already wasting
my time going there to pay and see their grumpy face. throw the rm110 at
their face la, that is just how much they are worth to you.

I did mention that I have had altercations with the BIBs before when I
know that I am in the right, but not when I know that I am on the wrong
side of the law. Unlike you, I don`t try to make what is right, wrong, and
what is wrong, right. Darn...you must be a lawyer.
What are the chances of you being caught speeding (you are in actual fact
speeding, and not being wrongly accused) and it so happens that the
police`s speed cameras had the wrong time and date set? It may happen
once, and don`t expect this to happen too many times.
Like I said, from how you write you sound very much like a lawyer
beruk...er, I mean, buruk. Are you trying to generate business from this
web-site? But do tell me, lawyer buruk...how many cases of disputed
speeding summonses do you come across from the hundreds which are
generated everyday? What is the % being disputed, and what is the % of
cases won by the `wrongly` accused motorist? Ah well, even if I had to
engage a lawyer for whatever purposes you are definitely not on my list.
Stop embarassing yourself here, and maybe your business would eventually
improve. As you so correctly say, "make sure you are paying for what you
deserve to pay, and not pay what they ask you to pay" From my perspective,
you don`t deserve a single cent.
`maybe not doing well in f1 is better than not being in f1...`
Hahaha...DC, stop day-dreaming in court and go get a life

You've blunted your reply somewhat. Must be losing the keen edge.
For it to be truly derogatory, the most appropriate term is LOYAR.

as you can see, I'm trying my utmost best. Thanks for the tip on how to be
even more derogatory. Please do not hesitate to step in when you find that
I am beginning to lose it, and start making lovey-dovey, non-derogatory
statements and terms. Cheers!

Have you heard of speed trap by JPJ??? I'm puzzled, got saman letter from
JPJ saying I was doing 125 km/h near Seremban. The date is true, I was
travelling to Seremban on that day. I thought JPJ never do speed trap???
Anybody experienced this before?? Please share

i'm no expert in police or jpj matters concerning speedtraps, but i'm just
sharing my experience with all of you. It's best like D.C said just spend
another Rm10 to develope the photo that they have claimed you did the
offence,if you're quite sure you did not commit it.
I've got an uncle who drives a ford courier, kena speed trap saman, place
of offence according to the saman is in changkat jering nearby taiping,
the fact is he's car never travelled out of the penang border, so off he
went to the police station to settle the dispute. In the station, one of
the officer told him "encik...bayar saja kan senang..." but my uncle
insist that they develope the photo for him, and true enough, in the
photo, the car which commit the offence was our very own make proton saga!
When i heard the story from my uncle, it kinda gives me goose bumps, all
the hair at the back of my neck stand, i'm just asking....what if you're
so unlucky that somebody try to duplicate your vehicle no.plate, and use
it as a robbery or murder or rape get-away car?!To most of us, we might
say "haiya, where got so ngam one?!" but what if.........

speeding summonses. Excessive exhaust smoke, yes. Overloaded lorries, yes.
Expired lorry road-taxes, yes. Invalid lorry drivers' licenses, yes. But
speeding?! You weren't taking someone's lorry/truck out for a joyride on
that fine, faithful day, did you? Just kidding Anyway, issuance
of summonses pertaining to traffic offences like speeding is within the
jurisduction of the PDRM to my knowledge. I would be very surprised if
this has been extended to JPJ as well. Are you sure that it's not
someone's idea of a very elaborately, planned practical joke?

that a speeding offence has not been committed at the said place. However,
if you are spending RM10 in the hope that you don't have to pay for the
summonses, as the police had the time and the date set wrongly on his
cameras, then you might as well pay that RM10 to buy 5 lottery tickets,
cos the chances of you strucking it rich is higher

That's why, I'm very confused too. Never ever I heard of anyone I know who
got summoned by JPJ for speeding. Unless JPJ stop you, then it's different
story. But to receive a saman letter by mail from JPJ is really strange....
Never mind, I will have a look at the letter myself, since it's in my
hometown at the moment. Thanks for your input nevertheless...
Cheers
