Went to carrefour today, so went to inspect one of these bracketless wiper.
It is held by a sort of plastic or rubber strip molded into an aerodynamic shape.
The wipers are held on one side in the center. Looks like it can be replaced, just like the bracket ones....... smile_approve.gif

Yes you can get refills for this but not in Boleh land.Limited choices here.

Just need to get my hands on one, take it apart and study the bracket holding the rubber.
At the moment there are two types of wiper refill for the conventional bracket type.

Bracketless one I saw was Maxtech brand..... or something like that.....

There are so many types of wiper blades nowadays. Better make sure it fits...... smile_blackeye.gif
Those days only length matters..... smile_tongue.gif

I agree and most of those Wiper Blades are mass produced so be careful, you might have incompatibility issues. Just to be sure, you can list all the specifics of your car like car make , year, measurements or might as well go to an auto shop to install it for you.

Got one worn sample of the bracket less wipers from my friend's shop.
Will dismantle and study whether can use refill or not and what type of refills?

Dear All,

I am wondering where can I find the bracketless wiper blade in Klang Valley?

Many thanks in advance!

Are these bendable? If yes, I saw them in a tyre shop in Setia Alam, RM55 per pair. The guy was trying to sell it to me when I changed my tyres there. Name of the shop is Top Hill Auto Service smile.gif

Not to say bendable, but it curves and the whole backing piece is the frame itself..... smile_tongue.gif

My oem wiper made in France torn after 18 months. Last Sat. I went to look for Bosch bracketless wiper but recommended by the guy to try MIM wiper. RM35 for 2. I hope I am not outsmarted by the brand Smart and the shop assistant by buying them. Will update whether it is good or not.

i just got mine from colleague, RM12 / pc

this is the 2nd pair

compare to bracket type, bracketless it is more silence

draw back is the ends would not sweep clean, it leave trails of smeared water
