I'll begin with mine, tried V-power and mobil so far however did not feel the difference. Probably did not push the lion hard enough to feel any...plan to try shell for next pump

I drive mostly in the City, I would say 80%. Worst FC during weekdays, due to stop/start traffic, drive during rush hours.

1) rm92/440km = 0.20/km
2) rm95/418km = 0.22/km
3) rm92/450km = 0.20/km (best mileage so far)
4) rm91.5/399km = 0.22/km (shell)
5) rm92/448km = 0.20/km (mobil)
6) rm86/401km = 0.21/km (mobil)
7) rm99/458km = 0.21/km (mobil)
8) rm91/447km = 0.20/km (mobil)
9) rm84/456km = 0.18/km (esso)
10) rm90/452km = 0.19/km (mobil)
11) rm97/491km = 0.19/km (mobil)
12) rm90/440km = 0.20/km (BHP)
13) rm89+40/856km = 0.15/km (BHP) Highway80%
14) rm93/444km = 0.20/km (BHP)
15) rm93.5/497km = 0.18/km (BHP ron95)
16) rm95/505km = 0.18/km (BHP ron95)

After reading alan and ahwan's blog, its true that if you dont need to 'tekan', auto cruise actually helps improve FC even within the city. I've tried auto cruise @ 70-90km/h so far on roads like MRR2, LDP, Federal highway, but please note that this is done when there's very little traffic OTR.

I'm certain my mileage would go <400km/tank, if my right foot becomes 'the boss' smile_tongue.gif

The turbo is a very frugal car. But, the aspect is all about being light footed. This car gives a good balance between power and fuel economy.
As for me, the fuel consumption is not something that I look into saving, knowing that the price of fuel will increase from Sept 1st, I am enjoying the power when I can still afford it.
However, I would be willing to try the RON95 and test the difference in power...
I am in Brunei now and guess what, they even have RON 85 here. Price of fuel is about B$0.53 per litre of RON 98. In ringgit its RM 1.27 after conversion, and remember, its RON 98, not RON 97. Cars here are also about half the price compared to in Malaysia.
Its not what you have...... its how you use it!!

What I got so far for my THP i believe could be classified as reasonable for a 1.6l car. Avg consumption as below:

1) RM102 - 600.8km (35% hwy 65% federal route)
2) RM92 - 550km (60% hwy 40% federal route)
3) RM90 - 410km (20% hwy 80% city)

All with avg balance for about 150km before empty. What do u guys think?

Mine was still hanging around 0.22~0.21 cents per km ... after 7th full tank. Odo at 5xxx km ... so i think I got a bad right foot. Tested V-power ... like what other bro's said ... you get nothing else but psychology effect ..hehe

Also brought it to century sprint ... he he ... will post as separate subject.... basically vpower is crap!
Don't wait for chances, create them!

I guess mine is too early to say. It really depending on how heavy your right foot is... anyway, no point of too much concerning on your fuel consumption because you will never enjoy the true power of your lioness. Its vice versa... you will never get both at the same time but you might wanna balance up between both world.

So far am using once techron and the rest with primax. So far any significant difference you guys encounter? I mean in term of pickup, how fast the fuel indicator needle falls to empty an so on.

My VTi avg consumption as below:

Initial - RM125 (FOC from SA)
1) RM93.37 / 469.8km = 0.199/km
2) RM99.05 / 635.2km = 0.155/km (best mileage so far)
3) RM128.04/ 670km = 0.191/km
(RM108.04+RM20 - after towing)

So far using Shell Super and one time with Petronas Primax3.

I always drive till super low fuel before refill when in town. Very risky if on highway.

Updated with 4th petrol pump.

4) RM94.54 / 540km = 0.175/km (100% city) - Shell Super

after about 5 pumps...FC avg to 0.20/km - 0.22km for a 90% city drive THP...

so...this is from a car with hp of a 1.8/2.0...and torque of a 2.4/2.5 litre car...

But I have no idea what is the FC for a typical 2.0 car...like the accord/camry/407/M3 2.0/320i....
