Is that mean 6 pre-out or 4?
It quite misleading.

Bought some local mag, Alpine 9887 RM13xx ohmy.gif
Alpine product getting cheap...

wow, didn't know Alphine 9887 is in Alphine's lower end range....then F1 is mid range?

compared to previous alpines like 9855 and 9835, the 9887 is definitely lower end, and the price also reflects it....so u get wat u pay for...

hi ,as far as i know if you really wanna go for high end HU i will prefer alpine ,but there were one brand that that always been overlook .you can try for esclipse good sound quality and reasonable price ,with usb ,ipod input ....... check it out guy !!!!!

Hi fkmfkm,

Ok maybe i explain it in other way,
for most or normal HU it's come with 2 preout ( 2 pair of RCA output )
1 for comp set / front field , 1 for sub / rear field

For Higher end HU
it's come with 3 preout ( 3 pair of RCA output )
1 for comp set / front field , 1 for comp set / rear field , 1 for sub
which you have better control of left right ch and front rear ( balance, fade )

Hope you have better picture as what i mean

I'll say that 9887 it's mid range series n F1 it's the highest end series
but f you compare to older model like 9835,9855 or 7998 that's no way better
