Back from Desaru yesterday. Crawled from Kota Tinggi junction all the way to Ulu Tiram. The fcuking 10-15 min journey turned out to be 2 hrs+. No accidents, no road works along the way. Dunno why?

problem ni memang biasa berlaku pada ptg ahad setiap minggu

ptg jumaat @ pagi sabtu sejumlah kenderaan dari jb @ s'pore akan melalui pekan ulu tiram utk balik kampung atau holiday ke kota tinggi dan mersing (all the felda's, pantai air papan, sedili, waterfall etc )

ptg ahad pulak semua kenderaan ini akan rushing balik semula ke jb @ s'pore, to make it worst, jalan kota tinggi - jb hanya satu lorong, ditambah pula traffic light di pekan ulu tiram yg sedang diupgrade.

I rase heavy traffic bukan masalahnya. I nampak ramai yg potong queue (manusia ke semua ni?) dan timing traffic light yg tak betul kat Ulu Tiram. Lain kali, I rase I kene pakai jalan Kota Tinggi-Kulai je lah.

They're constructing a flyover at the Ulu Tiram traffic lights junction. And it gonna takes another 2 yrs. And I got to pass by there at least once a week...... But I alway bypass using Pelangi Indah-Putri wanggsa-Bukit Tiram way. Not many outsider knows.

last time, it was accident & the whole road (both single lane) was totally block for > 2~3 hours ++ stand still.

the only time the car was moving, is the very front row u turn back

but of course lah, i didn't wait that long cause not so important meeting with my friend so u turn back to my home after 30 minutes wait

my colleague had to take long road from kulai to saujana

My record more than 4 hours stand still. Around year 2000 when the convoy of 50 motorcycles safety tour lead by JB traffic OCPD crashed a total of 11 big bikes with a bus kilang and a low-loader trailler near this PULADA between Ulu Tiram and Saujana. We just mati engine our cars in the middle of the road then walk about 1km the the actual accident scene to see how the bomba drag our all the bodies. Because most of them were big-shots, so got to wait the families members to arrive at the scene to verified, then only can proceed to 'naik Land-Rover'.

The unforgetable part was, when the scene being cleared and they allow vehicle the pass throught, a few of us 'kepo' people got to run 1km back to our car to get moving, as the evacuation quite fast. So next time better 'agak' your time or better still just stay with your vehicle.

last saturday at 12.00 pm, i went for shopping at tebrau city, noticed that traffic from jb crawling start from "lorong memotong" after pulada until kota tinggi kulai junction

at 3.00 pm, i stucked and crawled from taman sri saujana to kota tinggi kulai junction

dunno why, maybe all these people went for wedding feast
biasa la..cuti sekolah kan..musim kerja kawin
