My 1.9 zx auto (year 1992) is averaging 11-12kms/lit on 50% town and 50% highway driving style.

RECORD, french made.
should be very cheap. Mind telling me how much you paid for the set? I have sat in a ZX riding on Record absorbers, nice and soft. But as they said, reliability is the issue.
However, what's the point of reliable if the ori absorbers (gas) gives me a hard ride....as if riding on a coil-over absorbers. Sucks.
I may try changing to another set of springs since Master Wong tested my car and said that the springs are already weakened, hopefully it helps.
anyone know where i can find Eibach springs? Used it on my putra before, surprisingly it's much more comfy that the stock springs, not as hard as the ori springs but controlled. good stuffs.

should be very cheap. Record is cheap, about RM4xx a set (front and rear),
the answer is already in ur thread, rm270 perpair ,since the chopshop 's is asking rm220 perpair so i didnt nego the price with the seller; but pls consider advice from zul which i had overlooked "hmmm,
just dont put record. it will leak in record time. sach is better but still the original is the best. other alternative is monroe, but i dont think monroe sensatrac is available now. used sensatrac before and they lasted 5 years. but now i am on original. just compare price and avoid record. the marginal difference between ori and monroe, sach is too small, considering original ones can last 7-8 years. but if not available, just go for others, but avoid record."
