Been headache bout the acceleration. How much can I change without sacrficing the comfort and engine durability?

Here are some things I look into that may help.

I've tested by mixing V Power with Ron97: better response.

K&N drop in: Installed. Some mid range improvement.

Crank pulley: Next project. Now fundraising.

Spark plugs : any recommendation, sifus out there?

Extractor : does this help? will it increase the engine temperature?

Plug cables : Is it true the thicker it is, the better?

Grounding kit : I believe this has some effect in the electrical supply.

May everyone suggest? smile_sleepy.gif

instead of installing all this small gadgets that will cost you some $ but yet no obvious result....try la Bolt On Turbo or SuperCharge... sure effective one!

i personally feel not much can do to improve except use turbo.
the engine is not that good - SOHC. only for easy drive.
thanks, Jude...

Sifus,
I personally think that bolt on turbo is cheap and easy but not suitable and reliable. U c when car manufacturers want to have a turbo, they need to do some research and analysing. They would then have the block, piston, gasket, valve to have modified or use better material. So for a stock engine to have a simple bolt on turbo job, may create problems we might never knew existed...However, there's a breed of engine that is Hyundai and comes with turbo as standard...planning ahead in future....

Right now, there's still new Getz roll out meaning there's more year for spare parts to supply. I believe my 2003 CBU unit can last till 2023, if there is no change of regulation...

to bolt-on a turbo kit into a GETz with auto tranny is not so advisable..
not to mention the engine, can the gearbox take the extra load?
