after running the oil for ~ 300KM, For the total 7000 vs motul 6100, the total seem hv a lower oil press when engine hv no load. Total is ~ 2.8 bar, motul @ 3.0 bar. W/ engine load both are @ min 6 bar. But the total is much cheaper then Motul.... so may be good for daily used,

That's why I still wonder the Total 7000 hv the same performance as the Elf competition both is 15w50 semi-syn oil.

Since you need higher weight they have the 5w-50, also around RM80 to 90 for 4L

Total 7000 vs. Elf Competition.

If both are:
1. The same grade e.g. 10w-40
2. Both are semi-synth and
3. Same API e.g. API SM.

Fact is: Both are having 100% same oil inside the bottle. Checkout their respective product data sheet (Total singapore website).

The different are only in the brand name, price and packaging.
Elf are always slightly cheaper than Total.

I even heard that Total might want to remove Elf brand from the market (like what had happened to Fina) and just sell all / most of their product under 1 brand name i.e. Total. Castrol done something like this before.
