Innova is actually an improvement over the popular Unser.

engine has been improved from 1.8 to 2.0 litre, from 8 valve to 16 valve and add VVTI for that extra umph in power and economy.

the space inside is ever improving from the already large cabin of unser and suspension ride improved.

problem? nothing serious.

service every 10K if using semi/full synthetic oil

air-cond service every 30,000km.

alignment/balancing every 10,000km.

if want a pretty design look, buy sumting else. normally, its sensible people who buy this model.

it is priced like a Naza Ria has less features than Naza Ria but highly more reliable. trust me.

yes...

it is a practical car, reliable and nice to drive. will not feel like driving an mpv. turning point / circle is good for the size.

in terms of reliablility, naza ria is out of question. never think of it.

get 1 and you will not regret...

but i never test drive... when launch i go to toyota showroom [car park] SA ask me to test drive, when start engine {hoong.....} feel like van... so i didnt drive it

my friend bought it 2006, now he still enjoy smile_approve.gif

frankly speaking,
a lot of ppl saying that is underpower and petrol consuming..
and for it price tag, i would say the Grand Livina had taken a huge chunk of market share from Innova since it launched.. smile_blush.gif

er..i tot livina is to target innova buyers..
unser is famous for the workhorse and space..
but innova no longer can follow the footstep..livina certainly not lack of space .. smile_blush.gif
tats y u see the drop of big sales and UMW start to facelift and giving huge discount..

test drive both and you will know....

livina is not comfortable for 7 ppl. 1 major thing is lack of 2nd blower. it uses the center airvent at dashboard to blow air to rear via the roof.

livina is more car like....

size innova is much comfort... depends what we want....

more compete with citra/karen/rondo....

livina = station wagon that thinks it is an MPV. the advantage is only lower ingress point.
