hello guys
i hav install my display card and everything is working fine.
the display card is MSI N9600GT.
now i want to use the HDMI output.
in order to do that,i must connect a connector to the mainboard.
from the manual,it state that at the mainboard one end is connected to the SPDIF pin and the other is connected to the ground pin.
i can see the SPDIF pin on the mainboard and there are 9 pin there.
pin 7 and 8 is ground.my question is, to which pin should the other cable connected to?
i cannot find the answer in the manual.the manual did mention improper connection will cause damage to the display card and this is something i cannot afford.

Wah... nice card you got. I thought SPDIF is sound related? What do you mean by pin 7-8 is ground? By jumper ar? The cable you've mention, is how many hole female connector?
Ram me if you can!

The answer actually can be found in MSI website itself....you just need to know how to google
Anyway, you need a DVI to HDMI output cable (dunno the price but i guess not cheap)

SF,
its the best value for money for my current affordability.
i also dunno what the SPDIF is for.the manual just said to connect it there.
there are 9 pin on the SPDIF pins.pin 7 and 8 are ground by itself,no jumper.
there is only 2 cable to be connected.orange and black.
the package already include a DVI to HDMI converter.i only hac to buy HDMI cable which i havent do so.
i've tried MSI site but sill cannot find.
maybe i dont try har enough.
