Finally i get to drives the Exora courtesy of my colleague.
Its a red M-line.
I purposedly sat at the 3rd row seat to see if the seats there are really seats suitable for human.
I am close to 170cm and i make myself at home there.
The superb 3rd row aircon oso helps a lot.
However its a little hard on the bump at the rear but that is most probably due to overpressure of the rear which is common among new delivered car.
2nd row seat? No complain at all.
Then he hand me the key and i drove from Leman Dawi cendol to Gemencheh.
The Exora surprise me for an MPV.
It handles just like a car, and at normal speed there is hardly any body roll.
Its very easy to drives.
And like all agree, the down side is the engine. I was driving with 2 other adult on board and i must say the engine is still reluctant to rev.
The engine produce just barely enough power to get the vehicle moving from standstill.
Its worse on a hill. The gb is slow to detect incline and only shift down when the rev is super low which is not composed at all. The GB oso seems to be slow to detect pedal position. Its to slow compared to other Campro powered vehicle.
However once u get to 80kmh its easy to accel beyond the legal limit.
The Exora oso hides speed quite well.
One thing i notice when driving the Exora is that i am not moved at all to push it a little harder.
Yes i know its an MPV but then again i occasionally pushed the Pajero.
The Exora changed me into a composed driver.
I hardly notice that i stick to the legal speed all the way.
The journey is so relaxed and i dont care about the time took.
Brakes is good but then again i wasn't driving with full load.
Thats it really.
If i hav a big family and needs a 7 seater and travel with full load, i wont go for the Exora as it will struggle and i dont like a car which dont have reserve power when we needs it.
If i only had a small family, i will surely go for it.
If P1 came out with a better powerplant then this MPV will rule.
