Sifus,

i felt like my absorbers are not doing a good job.. whenever i drive i can feel the roughness of the road.. For instance when i pass a railway track... the whole car vibrates together with a loud noise as im running without tyres.. even if there is some patches on road i can still feel it ..But my absorbers doesnt give any kind of noise...its perfectly silent... Does these absorbers, suspension have lifespan which can be detected through mileage... My End 2004 has already passed 120k..How much it costs now if i want to change ?Thanks

Your absorber has lost it flex. Original Waja APM set won't cost much. But I never change ori set before. Max RM500 siap pasang all 4. I guess.

If you get Monroe Sensatrac then different story. But worth it. I heard no more in market already.
Ram me if you can!

that depends on the condition of the shocks.if they need to be change,u should change it.
stock APM absorber is very2 cheap.i believe u can afford to change it all four at once.
last time i check,front is RM120 a piece.rear is RM60 a piece.but i DIY it so labour charge is nil for me.
i dont recommend u DIY unless u hav power tools and the right tool of course.

i still using ori absorber (infront only, 2nd piece, change on warranty period),

but drive on the railway track, not much vibrates like Copernicus... maybe because i got the 3 point stabilizer bar?

by the way, in warranty period, i had change to 2nd set infront. The back absorbers 3rd set already, now using gab.

front absorber probably need to change already due to some sound.. biggrin.gif
