Get to know Tom's after bought my MPV. Recommended by the importer since its panel workshop.
Actually I found one incident where my ATF leaks after few days left the workshop. Drove back to inspect then they said its must be something wrong wth the gearbox oilseal. To do re-seal the gearbox, my MPV must leave at least one week..have to "turun enjin" and will cost me RM1,800/=.
Manage to get second opinion from other workshop..The mech told me the few screws were loose and he tighten them properly. Till now, no more ATF leak.
I dare not to say the Tom's Workshop wanna make easy money but the mechanic of second workshop told me the QC of Japanese exporter have checked thoroughly before leave Japan land.
So, everyone should think the conclusion of these kind of incident..
That is not getting to know them. That is only an intro to them...ha! ha!
My mechanic I have known for years, to the extent I just leave my car there and I know it will be taken care off.
Sometimes break down and he does house calls too...ha! ha!

Oh the customer service is good. At times when mechanic's car is available, he will loan to me. Car also can be collected from his house rather then from the workshop which is further away. Best is sometimes 30 days credit given....ha! ha! as I mention become very good friends already. Repo/trust has to be built ......

Guess we should start a new list of BLACKLISTED WORKSHOPS IN MALAYSIA topic column ( with each state column ), provided please no sabotage only genuine cases only with reasons given and with names of mechanic or bosses . Needed the names coz sometimes not all the mechanics in the same workshop are cons or tidak apa type. What you guys think about it ?
PATIENCE !!! PATIENCE !!! PATIENCE !!! IT'LL GET YOU THE BEST WHEN TIME IS RIGHT AND SO WILL BE THE PRICE
