In the past, there are windsocks to "inform" us the wind direction & agar the wind speed. In fact, during a strong cross wind, you cant exceed 50kmh. Again is our judgement, if car feel unstable, slow down a bit la.
BTW, there is also the so-call SAMAN ZONE; where the fine can be paid on the spot. Fines are of higher rate coz of the exceeded speed is higher. PLUS highway is normally 110kmh, but we normally drive at 130kmh to 140kmh; say 130kmh. Kena Caught is only exceed 20kmh, but at Air Keroh there, will be exceed 40kmh, more Jialet lo.....

I personally find speed traps to be more of a nuisance than serving their cause in promoting road safety.
Most modern cars these days can breach 90 or 110kph without so much as a tickle of their accelerator pedals. The driving then becomes frustrating, as it becomes an exercise to rein in the car.
The most annoying speed limits are 90 zones in triple-lane highways.

You've not tried some 60km/h zone in state highway. That's makes me insane.

Frankly speaking, speed camera in Boleh-land is just a side income for the gaoment.
