Those who bought the Lancer GT with stock 18" rims will probably be having headaches when it's time to change tyres - to change tyres only, or downgrade to 17" or even 16" rims along with cheaper tyres? laugh.gif

why ?? odd size ah??

I think it's 'cos the 18" donuts are bloody expensive! sad.gif

17" has become common and getting cheaper .. just look at S-Drive Pricing for 17" .. Maybe 1 year down the road ,18" pricing will be lower than current.

What you post is correct, but 18" may take some time.
In the earlier days, cars came with 12" and 13". Then 14" set in and finally today 15". 17" of today for for the upper region cars, like Civic 2.0, Accord. Other than that 15 is still the in thing.
That was why I was using 16" those days and finally upgrade to 17" as 17" has come down in price. 17" were all in RM500 to 600 region last time. Now at least only for the higher performing one, whereas some are still lower in price.
18" can consider Indon tyres loh. Check out Pinso tyres at Quicksave....

I am unhappy with my 17inch Continental Sport C2 which replaced the original Goodyear Excelence on my Accord 2008 model. Any recommendation on tyres suitable? I personally do not like noisy or hardness which make the car go crashing on uneven road or even tiny potholes. Goodyear Asymmetri any good?

thank you

Bro.mubienh. Can I assumed you dislike the CSC2 due to its noise and bumpiness? What's your ride ?

Hi VR, I recalled the F1 ASM test report mentioned tht it's noisy, Can Leon confirmed tht since he has changed for few customer?

rdgs,

Vr2Turbo My friend also told me he was not happy with his csc2 tyres. Got hard after 7 months. Is it suitable for our equatorial climate?

Whats happening to the new F1 assymetric discussion? Is quicksave takut to talk about it?
