"Hydrofuel is a con job. Don't waste your money on fraudsters."

No it's not I can say for sure. Been using it on my wife's Atos 1.0 auto
for about 3 months already and successful without any electronics
modification.
B4 hydrofuel was at 10km/l and now 12.1km/l. That's 20% savings! With a
single 1 litre jar, ss plates +nn-nn+, drawing about 5.3 amps.
Already installed in my beloved optra 1.8LT awaiting results. Cheers

I'm very curious about whether the car battery's lifespan will be affected
after prolonged use of hydrofuel, since it consistently draws 10A or more?

On average cars, additional draw of 10-20 amps shouldn't be a problem at
all. Usually alternators fitted in these vehicles are more than just enough
to supply charge to the battery. That's y there's some sort of "limiter"
after the alternator so as not to over charge the battery. Correct me if
I'm wrong.
