Both the Renault are struggling... and Honda suprisingly looks quick...
then again, Honda's are known for less fuel ... and early stoppers...

Well, well, well. Ferrari is definitely back. Schumi's win on the
Hockenheim circuit was a commanding performance and most definitely
shattered Renault's especially Alonso's confidence. Both the Renault and
Ferrari were on a 2 stop strategy. So I guess renault's Mass Damper System
had played a very big part in providing balance to its cars, and without
it during the race, the Renault were off the pace.

not the mass damper lor its the tires
they were wearing too fast cause he left only one new set
for last leg only. Renault left them outside to show ppl what happened
and not to blame them indirectly blaming Michelin....
this track you notice the Bridgestone users were having faster lap times.
the damper doesn't hamper (cliche) straight line leh!
they were posting bad straight line speed as well!

Rikeys,
It has got to be due to this missing mass damper system that contributed
to the unusual high tyre wear. BAR honda, & Mclaren didn't face any high
tyre wear compared to the Renault.
The other thing could be that since Michelin will be exiting F1 at the end
of the season, it may not want to invest further in the development of its
F1 racing tyres to compete with Bridgestone. Why invest further any you're
gonna pull out.
