it's going to depend a lot on the engine reliability as the car allow to
use only 1 power plant per grandprix.
McLaren + Kimi - both title

Hahaha! You guys are all crystal-balling. Let's see what the top 3 teams
has to offer in terms of new cars and engines first. Until then I would
hesitate to speculate as to who the 2003/04 season would belong to.

Basically, when you have a team having the biggest budget for 5 years
straight, it`s quite hard to justify the same amount of budget for next
year to the sponsors and principal. In this case, we might see other teams
like McLaren, Williams and Toyota to have bigger budget than Ferrari
(realistically having better chances of wining championship) but you can
never ever discount the talents and team spirit in the Maranello camp.

firdausasri, i think the red team has a budget so big it will take a few
years for the rest to catch up. They are able to spend on both the
technical side and the driver.
Somemore Williams are relying on non-ciggie sponsors, which of course
don't have the deep pockets of the ciggie companies. I applaud this move
since it is a long-term thinking for going forward, ciggie adverts will be
banned.
Let's hope the brilliance of Williams, and of course of BWM, will enable
Montoya (i do really hope the team be as professional and give him all the
support even if he is leaving) to kick some real butt, especially that of
German robot.
Let's hope everyone has a shot at the championship but pls, not again for
the robot...

Well, 3 ppl had a shot at the championship last season : RS, KR and JPM.
RS was the first to fizzle out, followed by JPM who only had himself to
blame for the incident with RB which knocked him down to 6th position. In
the ultimate race in Japan, KR and his car couldn`t keep up with the
blistering pace of RB`s Ferrari. So no need to hope. It`s already reality
as demonstrated in the 02/03 season, as far as giving someone else
a shot, whether long or short, at the WDC.
