basically, it works.

but need to follow the instructions and method of use to get maximum impact. no point use it if your engine is full with deposit, carbon or sludge.

and if u doesn't use proper coolant (just air paip in radiator)... might as well forget it.

this kool-it thing work in tandem with the coolant. upon first use, immediately, my engine the coolant temperature dropped by 4-5 celcius. but that not the end of the story..

recently, i flushed my engine before putting in new oil (itchy to do this for a long time), and to my amazement, the coolant temperature drop a further 8-10 celcius!. the combination of cleaner internal engine compartments and parts + superior cooling property of my coolant (enhance by kool-it) leads to this 'kool' coolant and engine temperature.

at ~rm65 per bottle of less than 500ml, it is a very pricey fluid. worth the money? depends on your definition.

hope that helps.
ciao!

Thanks for sharing bro.Inter and its useful,

U mean is better to mix with OEM coolant (say Honda Long Life coolant,type2) and shld I flush the radiator even if I dun notice any rust or deposits?

Flushing of Engine ..hmm something I never done it before. I got it cheaper than yer mentioned price.

btw: what other lubegard products u have tested? pls advice bro.

kool-it only works on the coolant. read their write-up to understand how it works.

and your must use a mixture of minimum 50% coolant 50% distilled water (not air paip, not air mineral okay?) in order to use kool-it.

better to flush the radiator (or the whole cooling circuit first before using kool-it). start from fresh.

other lubegard product.. there are a few but i reserved my comments.

gjrforce,

maybe the Kool-It's cleaning power is too high and removed some sludge or rust blocking the leaks? dry.gif

milan,

Isn't the engine supposed to run on a certain temperature, therefore if is cools down too much then it is not too good, right?

Moreover, the temperature is controlled by the thermostat. If the coolant drops in temperature, the thermostat will restrict the flow to bring up the temperature, right?

rdgs,
