Extremely nice! The rear sucks though...it sucks because they made the boot space larger. The shift pedals are very 'clicky' (very short throw and firm), not like the Civic 2.0.
Interior is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than the latest Vios!!! You guys will love it! Oh the battery is the same as a P2 Kancil, the small one.
Rear leg space not as big as Vios though....

I am getting my Vios 1.5G today. Guess what, I have visited Honda Showroom on the City but the end still go for Vios .. Guess I still like Toyota .. ( No offence, not saying that Honda no good or what) Just my personal preference.
If Civic and Altis, w/o hesitation I'll go for Civic ...

But certainly has better headroom then Vios..much better. My head ache whenever sit at the rear of the vios as my head got brushed or knocked.

the new city struggles during initial move, due to extra 100kg weight.
the extra 10horsepower from the engine is also rendered useless unless the driver revs more than 6,000rpm (unlikely for 75% of the owners).
while the 5 speed auto doesnt help much either as the fifth gear only comes into action during constant highway speed drive. we all know the last 2 ratios are overdrive gears.
which brings the city back to square one. face to face with vios without any advantages other than the fact that it is newer. that is all.

those proud new city owners should come over here and view this reply and check out paul tan's comment so that they will shut up and not boasting about the city anymore.

"The Vios was always a top-seller, while the City was always the better car in substance. It seems to remain that way today, bankokpost"
I totally agreed.
"The last time the two met were when the City was still in its second generation and the Vios in its third or current generation. The result: the City the better all-rounder. ...Bangkok Post".Yup...fully agreed..with this repeated statement from most media review.
Will try to extract some other site for comparison as there are many...what u got is only Paultan's. This will probably shut Simon's mounth.

Just to say the above comments is planted by u espacially on..which brings the city back to square one..yah right?
City with 2 overdrive gears will definately good for FC..which is way better then Vios FC. So have u taken consideration of the NOISY & HARSH engine of Vios. The look on Vios which is rather feminine? The very floaty sensation on Vios. Or perhaps same engine perforamce , just a shell over it.
Just to say....at least Vios is a better car then Persona.

i wont spend much time reading people's comments. i will just scan thru and give my opinion what i feel myself as this is about personal perception. we shouldnt boast about a car and be over-biased giving comments here. that's why i said paul tan's review might keep some mouths shut. not to flame here and there, i just wanted people to drive and enjoy their car and not boasting their own car and at the same time condemning other cars. im no fan of toyota or honda, i just want a car which suits my needs. so need not post anything about those comparison websites. a real car enthusiast will dig under a car's skin and find out about it more not only from the papers. it's about the car's ability in real-life.
