Mine altis 1.6, 6.5 years oledi.

I'm oso facing a lot of problem , 1.alarm system: once i park m car under
the sunny day the alarm will make noise, dunno y, may be is too heat over
the alarm system.

2.i still remember , after half year i bought this car, i found some
water under the carpet on front passenger seat area, not the mat carpet.
i was damn angry that time, and i sent it to UMW SC,Larkin JB, they told
me it's the aircon pipe leakage, but after check it's not...they claims
dunno where's the water come from after inspected and tested..then they
took out the whole carpet and clear the water, take about 1 week. That
time my heart was so pain cos i saw my new under "operation" by them...

3. the rear door power window conked. total 3 times break down in 4 years
time.. and now i'm dun care it oledi cos warranty is over.

4. when the mileage reached 5000km, i'm headche...cos need to take half
day leace or 1 day leave to do the service .. very troublesome for owe
the toyota car in JB...one service center only have that time.

i swear i wont buy toyota car anymore in future , i will go for euro
cars

i think ure just very bad luck since the car u own is that bad. normally
a toyota wont disappoint its owner or be this bad quality. maybe go for
higher category toyota like camry. euro car also good but make sure spare
parts of it are easily available.

suprise and soory to hear yr sorrows which contributed by Toyota, in
general comparison for automobile, toyota is know for its reliability.
I'm not bias either support UMW though.
To replace with continental car? Beemer or Merc would be more stylo...but
then again the parts and maint., may be as costlier than your 6.5 years
old ride or even worse.
Buy new car lah..I had experienced second hand car twice....my bad and
regret...never learn my lesson.

Mine 1.8G has been using it for 7 years. Only wear and tear problems
which is normal on all cars. As for the water usually the aircond drain
pipe might get clog just need to make sure its clean. Compare to my 3 yr
old LR this altis is very reliable with a mileage of 200K.Will always
consider a Toyota.

if u consider toyota only, die early lah.....
old type toyota like seg are far better. the problem now is not one sc ,
but the quality and reliability of the car has drop significant!! not to
say the service!! if they build 100 sc for u also no use, u still hv to
go there more than 10 times to solve a problem. same case in Klang valley
area.

toyota drink blood....
